Our Halloween fundraising dance party was a great success thanks to all of you! Cyclists from all across the Front Range came out show their support.  Attendees boasted some great costumes, with many ghosts and ghouls dancing to the band (Hat of Shame), led by two members of the RealD-Amgen cycling team.

More than 150 people were in attendance at the Boulder Elks Club and donated more than $3,000 for the Boulder County Firefighters Association (BCFFA)  “benefit fund” to assist the firefighters who lost their homes in the fire get back on their feet.  The raffle, live auction by cycling commentator Dave Towle were very successful. 

It’s not too late to help!

·         Contributions money to the fund can be sent to or dropped off at any 1st Bank in the Front Range – making checks out to the “BCFFA”. 

·         The mGive Foundation has set up a mobile donation platform to benefit the BCFFA. This fund will go directly to benefit the firefighters who lost their homes, and the fire departments who lost stations while battling the Fourmile Canyon Fire. Text FIRE to 27722 to donate $10 directly to this cause.

Thanks again for all of your contributions and continued involvement.  The support from the area community businesses and cyclists has been truly heartwarming.
